Now in its third year this popular May Day ‘hands on’ event was once again a great success. This years theme was ‘Make your own Pet Hedgehog’ and 29 hedgehogs were made – an increase on last years Plague Rats! The throw your own pot was also popular and over 30 pots of all shapes and sizes were thrown under the expert guidance of Dominic Gage. Check out the photo’s in the gallery to get a flavour of the day.
Clay Day is a non-profit making event with proceeds this year being donated to MacMillan Nurses.
If you missed out this year put a date in your diary for May Day 2009! Please bear in mind however that pottery made on the day has to be left to dry and be fired. This could take 2-3 weeks. If you are unable to call back to collect then items can be posted on to you for a small charge.
