THE 'OUT & ABOUT GROUP'
The Out & about group is run by Scope Rotherham Day Service in partnership with Rotherham Social Service's, who fund the group. It is for people who have an acquired disability eg stroke, M.S., brain injury to name but a few. They take four to eight people out on quality days out to places of their choice.

The group are regular visitors at the Painted Plate. Everyone always has a great time and are amazed at what they can produce. The atmosphere is great and the group find it very therapeutic, as Len says, "You forget your problems for a few hours." Before we get out of the door I hear shouts of "When can I come again?". Also once people have seen what others have made they want to have a go as well. So keep up the great work Gail and we will see you soon!!!
